As of now, there are many social media platforms to promote a product but among them, mostly used ones are Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

There are currently Approximately 4 billion social media users in the world. With almost half of the world’s population on social media, it has become one of the best places to grow one’s business and increase audience as well.

Almost 75% of Marketers or marketing experts believe that social media marketing is either “useful/effective” or “quite useful”. Social Media Marketing can work very effectively for one business whereas Social Media Marketing may not be effective at all for other businesses (It totally depends on the business type). Nowadays Most Digital Businesses use Social media as a marketing strategy to increase traffic or get clients or promote their brand.

  2. Which Social Media platforms are suitable for you to focus on?
  3. What kind of content are you going to use to attract Audiences or users?
Planning & Publishing :

Before publishing or sharing any content on any social media platforms you need good planning. You can publish a simple article or video but it would not make that much of an impact as you want to promote or grow your brand and service, therefore you need to plan for things like :

  • How can you reach more audiences?
  • Is your post reaching the proper audiences or not?
  • The post should be engaging.
Listening & Engagement :

Listening to your audience is one of the best things you can do to grow your social media presence. Initially, you might not have that many followers or receive any comments at all but as time goes on your social media will grow if you put a lot of effort into it. Then you need to engage with your users once your followers start messaging you or start commenting on your post.

Analytics: 

You need to analyze and compare the current month’s reports to the previous month’s report to measure the growth. Compare no of comments, no of posts, no of views, no of new followers, etc.

Try to increase the views, no of posts, etc each month in order to keep growing and it should be either upward or consistent. if you see no change or downside trend then you need to rethink your social media strategy.

Advertising:

One of the best ways to increase your reach is to use ads to promote your brand or services to targeted users. It can be very effective to use ads to grow your business or brand. Ads can help you to create awareness about your brand among users.

Let us assume a social media user wants to get a new website at that time he/she came across the website development agency “QG” on social media via ads or any post. Then if that particular social media user gets in touch with “QG” via message and signs a contract about his/her website (Which to be developed by QG). Then you can say that “QG” used social media marketing to get a potential client. From a social media user to a potential customer/ client.
